The Fox Haunted Hillside relay is a fundraising event for the Killington Mountain Bike Club and will be held on October 30, 2021, at the Base Camp Trails.

Racers will compete in teams of three in a relay-style race from TBR to Upper Base Camp loop. Prizes will be awarded to the team with the fastest time, best team costume, and best individual costumes.

Funds raised from the event will go towards building and maintaining the trails within the KMBC network.

The race will be held on Saturday, October 30 from 3:00 – 4:30pm. Afterparty to follow from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Sushi Yoshi Killington.

Spectators and racers can enjoy a vendor village with treats for all ages – ice cream from Mad Hatter’s Scoops and beer provided by 14th Star Brewing.

Pre-registration is priced at $75 per team, day-of registration is $90 per team. Each team registration includes race and after-party entry, and a commemorative hat for the first 20 teams to register. For non-racers, afterparty tickets are available to purchase for $10 for anyone who wishes to attend.

The afterparty will be held at Sushi Yoshi Killington and will feature great food and raffle prizes. Killington Mountain Bike Club plans to announce the long-awaited team winner of the summer Bike Bum race series, in addition to announcing the winners of the Haunted Hillside Relay Race.

  1. We have a change on the Pine Hill Partnership Team. Andy Shinn is OUT and Leonard Bartenstein will be riding in his place. Interesting fact about Leonard is that he volunteers several days a week all summer working with the trail maintenance crew (Shelley and Nate Netsch).
